A Crestron system is a large investment, and choosing a programmer to realize your vision is a significant decision. The last thing you need to be worrying about is whether your programmer can deliver.
With some companies, contract programming can be a sort of “black box” experiment — you put a contract and specifications in one side, then wait (and hope and pray) for weeks or even months to see if anything comes out. At the LiquidPixel Group we don't think it should work that way.
Here’s what you can expect from us:
We say what we do and we do what we say.
Life is complicated. We’re not. We’re regular (if slightly geeky) guys who believe that integrity, hard work, and transparency are still worth something. Before you engage us, you will know exactly what we’re going to do, when we’re going to do it, and what it's going to cost. It’s our position that working with the LiquidPixel Group should be as hassle-free as using one of our interfaces.
Communicate early… communicate often.
From the first conversation to the last sign-off, we are committed to making sure that you never have to wonder how your project is progressing. LiquidPixel Group project managers are trained to anticipate questions you haven’t even though of yet, and a secure online project binder provides 24/7 access to all of your project files. In the unlikely event that an unforeseeable problem crops up, you’ll be the first to know what the situation is and what we intend to do about it.
You’re always in the driver’s seat.
Okay, we admit it — we’re control freaks. And we’re thinking you might be a little like that, too. That’s why LiquidPixel Group projects always have a clear production schedule structured around a series of checkpoints that require your review and sign-off. You’ll always be able to see our progress since our previous checkpoint, and you must be satisfied before we move on. We thought you’d appreciate that.
We’re an incurably curious group.
LiquidPixel Group exists for one reason – to create the best control system interfaces and logic available. With one of the largest teams for a CAIP, your project will benefit from the expertise of a diverse development team specializing in user interface design, programming, and systems integration. Our team’s broad exposure and deep experience ensures that you get our freshest ideas and best advice every time.
You can count on us.
Our wives tell us that reliability is really important. (And we’ve found that they’re usually right.) To assure that good intentions are consistently translated into deliverables, projects are assigned a development team. This means that, while your project manager keeps life simple, no one person is the sole repository of knowledge for your project. It also allows us to scale the team to precisely meet your deadline and budget needs. That’s reliability.
We turn data security paranoia into an art form.
We call it the “Bus Test” – if your programmer's laptop were run over by a bus, would your project still exist? With years of experience managing complex mission-critical projects, we don't take anything for granted. Our IT staff maintain strict standards of data management and code repository practices. Automated processes backup data to multiple secure locations (both on and off site) to ensure that your project is protected against all contingencies.
We aren't going anywhere.
Beyond the final sign-off, every project has a bug-free warrantee period just in case a wrinkle emerges. If we don’t hear from you (it’s okay, we know you’re busy), you’ll get a follow-up call from your project manager to ensure everything is meeting your expectations. And we'll be here at any point to answer a question or to discuss new features. (Hint, hint.)
